Present Duties
The Office of Private Health Partnerships (OPHP) was created in 1987 to help Oregonians obtain health benefit coverage. The agency provides information about health insurance to individuals, small employers, civic groups and others. Beginning January 1, 2014, most OPHP programs will no longer be needed due to the full implementation of 2010’s federal Affordable Care Act.
