Duties and Responsibilities: The Oregon Real Estate Board consists of seven industry members and two public members, and meets six times a year. Board members are appointed by the governor for four-year terms, which may be extended.
Board duties include providing advice to the real estate commissioner and the governor’s office regarding real estate industry matters, reviewing proposed rulemaking, approving experience
waiver requests of real estate licensing applicants and overseeing the license examination process.
