Present Duties
The Oregon Advocacy Commissions Office (OACO) was created in 2005 to support Oregon’s Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs, Commission on Black Affairs, Commission on Hispanic Affairs and the Commission for Women.
In that role, OACO supports each commission’s work advising the governor, Legislature, and departmental leadership on policies affecting
communities of color and women; growing leadership from their communities within government; and building success for Asian Pacific, Black and Hispanic Oregonians and for women in Oregon.
