Oregon citizens greatly value culture, education and the arts. Throughout the state, individuals, organizations and local communities collaborate to promote artistic and cultural activities and venues for residents and visitors.

The Oregon Arts Commission works to promote the arts by providing grant support, technical assistance and cultural planning. The commission works to see that access to the arts exists all around the state.
